Not ready for a full year of dance classes? A few times each year we offer short-term classes for students to just get a taste dance for 4-6 weeks. A one-time per new-student annual registration fee of $25 ($50 maximum/family) is also due for students who have not danced with us yet during the 2019–2020 year. Students who danced with us in the previous season will owe an annual registration fee of $15/student. The registration fee covers all sessions from September-August.
Fall 2020 Short-Term Class
Broadway & Ballet (Tap & Ballet)
Beginning-level ballet and tap for ages 6-10. Dancers will learn the basic structure of a ballet class including barre and centre work in a creative and age-appropriate environment as well as the
basics of musical-theatre style tap. This 60-minute class meets 1 time/week, ballet & tap shoes required.
Tuition: $100 for all 6 weeks

Mini Pre-Ballet Dancers ages 3-5 years will learn basic dance concepts such as patterns, shapes, sequence, rhythm, and musicality. Basic ballet steps (and terminology) will also be introduced to help students grow in balance, coordination, and motor skill development. Class meets for 6 weeks during our Spring Short-Term session:

Short-Term Class Dress Code
There's no specific dress code for the short term classes, at minimum students
should wear clothing that is easily moved in. If you would like to purchase dance wear (leotard, tights, and shoes) please refer to the information on our Dress Code page.
Spring 2020 Short-Term Classes
Parent/Child Performance Class
Parent & Child Performance Class is open to all students who have danced with us in the 2018-19 dance season. Families will learn a dance to be performed at our Year-End Performance. Parents
and children will learn choreography during 3 classes, each 45 min long, held on Fridays (April 26th, May 10th, May 17th, & May 24th).
Tuition: $30/family, no costume fee for this class, however a $10 Performance Fee is required for students (age 18 & under) not dancing with another class in the Performance.

Mini Pre-Ballet Beginning ballet for ages 3-4 or students with previous dance experience, this 30 minute class serves as a transition from creative movement to the structure of a ballet class. Students will gain confidence in ballet terminology and musicality. Class meets for just 6 weeks during our Winter Short-Term session. Fridays, 10:45 am–11:15 am, class begins February 3rd*. $50 for the 6 week session + registration fee for students who have not yet danced with us this season.
Beginning Ballet Specially geared towards homeschool students, this beginning ballet class introduces students to the structure of ballet in addition to beginning ballet technique, musicality, and performance concepts. This 45-minute class meets 1 time/week and dancers will quickly grow their ballet vocabulary. Class Time: Fridays, 11:15 am–12:00 pm, January 27th–March 3rd. $75 for the 6 week session + registration fee for students who have not yet danced with us this season.
Adult Musical Theatre Dance Beginning and Advanced Beginning Musical Theatre style jazz and tap dance technique. We will focus on Broadway-style tap and incorprate eliments of jazz to make you feel comfortable on the stage or just get a good work out. Mondays, 8:00–9:00 pm, January 23rd–February 27th. $60/6 week session. Drop-In Cards available.
Open Ballet (ages 13–Adult) This class follows Level 3 ballet in the studio progression for students who do not wish to participate in the Performance Track Program
and also includes adult students. This 1-hr class builds on a basic ballet vocabulary and skill set learned in Level 3 Ballet and meets 1 day/week. College students are welcome! This 1 hour class
meets 1 time/week.

Home School Ballet 1
Specially geared towards homeschool students, this beginning ballet class introduces students to the structure of ballet in addition to beginning and advanced-beginning ballet technique, musicality,
and performance concepts. This .75-hour class meets 1 time/week. Students will perform a ballet dance in our Year-End Performance. Dancers will perform one dance in our Year-End Performance.
