Winter 2026 Short Term Classes

Musical Theatre Camp!

Are you missing theatre after your fall musical? Getting ready for those middle school or summer community theatre musical auditions? Were you inspired by Wicked and want to try some singing and dancing? Come spend 6 weeks learning, singing, dancing, and acting with songs, scenes and dances from Broadway musicals! Students will learn foundational music, acting, and dance technique. $115 for the 6 -week class.

Ages 7-10: Saturdays, 10:00-11:00 am, February 7-March 14, 2026

Ages 11-16: Saturdays, 11:00-12:00 pm, February 7-March 14, 2026

Instructor: Mari Anderson

🎭Location: NorthEast Dance Center, studio 3 (wood-grain floor)

🎭What to Bring: Water bottle (make sure it is labeled!) and either your jazz or ballet shoes or socks for dancing in.  

🎭Clothing: Students should wear clothes that they can easily move/dance in but dancewear is not required.

🎭What They Will Learn: Students will learn a song, scene and dance from Broadway musicals as well as foundational music, acting, and dance technique. Students will perform for family members on the last day of camp.

Teen & Adult Advanced Beginning Ballet

Perfect for teens and adults (ages 12+) ready to step into the world of ballet at the beginning-advanced beginning level. This class offers a welcoming introduction to beginning ballet technique. Students will explore the structure of ballet while building a strong foundation in ballet technique, musicality, and performance concepts. Expect to quickly expand your ballet vocabulary while also gaining insights into ballet history and terminology.

This 1-hour class meets 1 time each week. $15/class (or punch card)
