Fairy Tales & Far-Off Places Camp

Grab your unicorns and mermaids and spend the morning dancing through ice castles and jungles, oceans and outer space learning dance steps, dance terminology, musicality, and performance concepts. Each day the dancers will have learn dance steps, create crafts, and learn choreography to be performed for family members at the end of the camp. Ages 4-6.
Tuition: $100 (plus $15 New Student registration fee-waived if registration is received by March 31st)

Dance the Movies Camp

Dance through movie favorites Encanto, The Little Mermaid, Super Mario Brothers and more! Each day dancers will dance though a daily theme, spend time learning dance technique, musicality, performance concepts, and choreography to be performed for families on the last day of camp. Ages 7-11.
Monday-Friday, June 17-21, 9:30 am-12:00 pm

Ballet Technique Mini Intensive

Bits of Broadway Musical Theatre Dance Camp

One of our favorite weeks of the year, come spend a week learning scenes, songs, and dances from all things Oz. Each day in acting, singing, and dancing workshops, students will learn songs and dances from The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and Wicked to perform at our camp showcase. A low-pressure and no-audition environment combined with highly trained local performers will create a fun-filled week of learning and growing in your performing capabilities! We will work towards a performance to be held on the last day of camp for any and all friends and family. A great opportunity to try performing for the first time or grow in your already-there skills! 

Monday-Friday, August 12-16
K-5th Grade (M-F, 9:30 am-12:00 pm): $125 for the week long camp
6th-12th Grade (M-F, 9:30 am-12:30 pm): $150 for the week long camp

Ages 3-6 Dance Classes

Mini Pre-Ballet (Creative Movement)
For dancers ages 3-5 (age 2.5 with instructor approval), introduction to basic ballet, movement, and music concepts. Students will learn basic dance concepts such as patterns, shapes, sequence, rhythm, and musicality. Basic ballet steps (and terminology) will also be introduced to help students grow in balance, coordination, and motor skill development. This 30 min class meets 1/week for the full 6 weeks of the summer session. 
Tuition: $40 for all 4 weeks

Ages 5-7 Ballet/Pre-Ballet

Beginning & advanced beginning ballet for ages 5-6, this 45 min class meets 1 time/week. Dancers will gain confidence in ballet skill and terminology as well as learning ballet choreography. 
Tuition: $60 for all 4 weeks
Thursdays, July 11-Aug 1, 4:15-5:00 pm

Broadway and Ballet (ages 5-7)
Beginning-level ballet and tap for approx. ages 5-7. Dancers will learn the basic structure of a ballet class including barre and centre work in a creative and age-appropriate environment as well as the basics of musical-theatre style tap. This 45-minute class meets 1 time/week, ballet & tap shoes required.
Tuition: $60 for all 4 weeks

Ages 7-12 Dance Classes

Ages 7-10/Level 1 Ballet

Level 3/4 Ballet (with Pre-Pointe)

Intermediate-Advanced Intermediate ballet technique. L3 & L4 Ballet students are required to attend at least 1 ballet classes each week during our 4 week summer session. Students will build on an intermediate level knowledge of ballet technique. 
Tuition: $90 for all 4 weeks of June Session

Thursdays, July 11- Aug 1, 5:15-6:45 pm

Advanced Intermediate/Advanced (L4/5) Tap
Advanced Intermediate & Advanced tap technique and vocabulary. This class meets for 1 hour, 1 time/week. Each week students will continue in their study of tap technique, musicality, rhythm, and choreography. This .75-hr class meets 1/week for 4 weeks of the summer session. Full-sole tap shoes shoes required. Students should have at least 5 years of tap experience to enroll in this class.
Tuition: $60 for all 4 weeks 
Thursdays, July 11-Aug 1, 6:45-7:30 pm
 

Intermediate- Advanced jazz technique & choreography for dancers with a minimum of 4 years jazz training. Each week students will continue in their study of jazz technique and musical-theatre jazz choreography. This 1-hr class meets 1/week for 4 weeks of the summer session. Jazz or character shoes required.
Tuition: $60 for all 4 weeks

Open (Teen & Adult) Intermediate-Advanced Tap

Broadway-style tap class focusing on learning a specific tap routine from a Broadway show for ages 16 & up. A great fit for anyone looking to brush up (pun intended) their tap skills for auditions or to get a fun cardio workout. $15/class (punch cards accepted).
Wednesdays throughout the summer, 7:15-8:15 pm

Advanced Pop-Up Tap

Ready for a more challenging tap class? Teens & Adults, come join our tap dancing queen Mari for 2 advanced tap classes this summer with all the rhythm, tricks, and speedy tempos.
$15/class (punch cards accepted).

Barrelates

Barrelates at Northeast Dance Center combines the best of barre's ballet-based exercises and Pilates. At NEDC, we are driven by the music. Did you know music can increase your endurance and improve the way you move? Your legs, glutes, and abs will love this fun and effective class, and you will LOVE the playlists.

Tuition: $12/class (punch cards accepted)

Conditioning & Stretching

Join us for 4 weeks of strengthening and stretching to improve your dance technique. Learn some conditioning exercises to balance longer and jump higher.

Mini Ballet Camp

Looking for a 3 day camp option? Dancers ages 7-10 come spend three afternoons learning and improving ballet technique, terminology, musicality, performance concepts, as well as learning about famous ballet stories and dancers. Each day the dancers will learn choreography to be performed for friends and family on the last day of camp.

Musical Theatre Dance Camp

From the grassy pride lands of Lion King, the streets of West Side Story, to the halls of Crunchem Hall in Matilda, musical theatre dance takes many forms which requires dancers to be flexible and have the ability to dance in many styles. Dancers ages 11+ come spend 3 mornings working on your dance technique for musical theatre with daily technique class and choreography.
